About Mind Yourself March & Get Involved
Mind Yourself March is a month-long community campaign about wellness and self-care. This past year has been challenging, and just about everyone is feeling, overwhelmed, anxious, or exhausted.
At Irish Community Services, we know that community is key so Mind Yourself March is bringing together Irish organizations and community members to share ideas and information to help us all take better care of ourselves and each other.
Throughout March, we’ll be sending weekly email newsletters packed with helpful links and ideas, offering classes and events on a variety of wellness related topics, and sharing stories and videos from your fellow community members about what they’ve been doing to stay physically, emotionally, or mentally well throughout this past year.
Best of all, YOU can be part of Mind Yourself March too! We want to know what you’ve been doing to stay well during the pandemic. Maybe you have ideas on nutrition and exercise, tips on parenting under lockdown, suggestions on staying connected to our communities, or advise on how to manage stress or anxiety. If you’ve found something helpful, it’s likely others will too.
You can email your ideas to us at info@irishchicago.org or better yet, take 90 seconds to shoot a quick video that we can share with the community. Don’t worry too much about your video being perfect. The most important thing – whether you want to take part in writing or by video – is that we’re connecting as a community and learning how to take better care of ourselves and our loved ones.
Make sure you stay up to date by signing up for Irish Community Services’ newsletter. If you’d like to participate in #mindyourselfmarch, or you have questions, please get in touch with Irish Community Services by email at info@irishhicago.org or by phone at 773-282-8445.
